I chose to create a webpage for Metis Music, titled Métis Melodies, because its a topic that I am culturally connected to, and passionate about.
For our digital art capstone project in the Indigitech program, we worked closely with another classmate to create a logo and social media posters for their imaginary business.
In the UX capstone project, we worked collaboratively to follow the design process of creating an app to solve our chosen problem in the area of 'Youth Empowerment'. After doing some research and design-thinking groundwork, we were able to produce a taskflow, and low to high fidelity wire frames.
As the Marketing Coordinator of Valley Echoes Chorus, I collaborated with the marketing team to create a banner, and a pamphlet, and design our booth. I designed the posters, contest ticketing, and a slide show. During the event I performed as part of a quartet and spoke as a representative of my chorus.
As part of my duties as the Marketing Coordinator for Valley Echoes Chorus, I am tasked with creating content which boosts our engagement and viewership on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
While studying at the University of Manitoba I was introduced to the theories behind exposure, lenses, white balance and more. With my solid foundation in color, light and composition to guide me, I have since become passionate about sky and nature photography.
My specialization for my Bachelor's Degree was in part, in Computer Graphics which has since bloomed into a love of 3D art, animation and video creation. I created a YouTube channel to showcase the work I have done in this area.
